Sometimes in the midst of acting out a romance on-screen, actors end up truly falling for each other. That is what happened three years ago to pop singer Miley Cyrus and Australian actor Liam Hemsworth while on the set of The Last Song. In an interview with Details magazine earlier this year, Hemsworth said he tried to be professional on the set of “Last Song,” but could not help falling in love with his co-star. “What happened happened, and we’ve been together ever since,” he said.
Fast forward three years later, and the two are now engaged. Liam proposed to Miley on May 31, 2012 with a 3.5 carat diamond ring. The two did not formally announce their engagement until this morning. Miley seems to be very excited about the engagement. She told People magazine, “I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam”. About a half an hour ago she tweeted thank you for all the love today 🙂 I’m happy to share this news with you all. I feel like all my dreams are coming true. ❤ have a great day.
