Frank Ocean Releases “Pyramids”, Talks Upcoming Album Channel Orange + Tour Dates

All hail the great singer and songwriter Frank Ocean!! I have loved this man’s work  since Nostalgia Ultra, and after hearing the Lonny Breaux Collection, I grew to really respect him as an artist. With buzz flying around about an upcoming album, we finally have received details. The Odd Future artist will be releasing his highly anticipated album, Channel Orange  on July 13th.

In his new single, “Pyramids”, we hear the story of his pursuit of his Black Queen Cleopatra . The storyline definitely is not as innocent as it sounds, but I like it. I think this is just a taste of what he is going to give us on his album. When asked about it he said, “It succinctly defines me as an artist for where I am right now and that was the aim, just to make something that represents where you are at that time. It’s about the stories. If I write 14 stories that I love, then the next step is to get the environment of music around it to best envelop the story and all kinds of sonic goodness—sonic goodies.

Can’t wait to hear his growth as well as the sonic goodies! By the way ; some of his  tour dates have already been confirmed and released. See below.
