Lady Gaga Covers VOGUE’s Record Breaking September Issue
The highly anticipated cover of VOGUE magazine’s record-breaking 918 page September issue, featuring Mother Monster herself, Lady Gaga has finally arrived. When I came across it by way of Bryanboy’s Instagram, I was speechless. When I finally gathered myself, I acknowledge how extraordinarily spectacular this cover is. This cover is a work of art. Let’s begin by examining how simple this cover is, which allows Lady Gaga to be front and center, literally. She owns the cover in a gorgeous mermaid dress by Marc Jacobs, and doesn’t she channel RuPaul with that hair? Most international magazine issues tend to be as creative and artistic as these, if not more. Anna Wintour must have felt that it was time for American magazines to step up, and that is exactly what VOGUE did. This record-breaking issue hits stands and stores on August 14th. I’ll be picking mine up as soon as the stores open, will you?
